I recently wrote about the idea of prioritization.
Even though the Perch app may look very simple, I learned one key thing that would be carried over to me designing the Hike app—prioritization.
- Priority of where your action items are placed
- Priority of how your elements and sections are ordered
- Priority of each screen, think about how you can take advantage of each screen rather than feel like one is better designed. Each one will have its superpowers. Lean in on that.
And now I'm thinking about my own internal struggle—not feeling prioritized.
