Redirecting Ideas

There's no denying that I have ideas.

Over of the course of my adult years (I'm currently 34) I've had so many—probably should create a list. With each new idea, though, would come a new logo—a new domain. Every new idea was a complete new direction or new thing.

The problem with how I handled all these ideas is a lot of time spent on not having focus and spending money that didn't need to be spent.

It took me 16 years to recognize the need to redirect my ideas. And this became so much easier when I received a calling and prophesy on my life back in 2021. I think about these two moments quite a lot. It formed a solid foundation for my work and all of my future ideas.

With each new idea I would reframe it under what I was told to build. I began to redirect my ideas.

To me, an idea comes from a my creativity for solving a problem whether the problem is truly one or one I assume. So, rather than perusing each new idea as it's own thing I redirect the creativity to see if there is a place as it relates to the one thing I'm working on.

It's time for focus. One side project or maybe two at a time.
